LIFESTYLE | My First Time Photographing a Wedding

Back at the end of April, I photographed my first ever wedding with the lovely Sam (you can also follow her Instagram accounts here and here) and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I was so nervous beforehand and I was really stressing out before I went, but I honestly don’t know why I made such a fuss because I wasn’t even the main photographer! Sam was really helpful and didn’t make me feel at all like I was in the way and I’m forever grateful to her for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.

Going along to this wedding really boosted my confidence and I’m really pleased with all of the photos above that I’ve shared. It’s really rewarding taking a photograph that you’re proud of and I’m really pleased – I’m always extremely hard on myself and I’m such a perfectionist, which I guess isn’t a bad thing, but I do need to accept my ability a bit more than I do!

Sorry that this post is massively photo heavy, but that is kind of the point with it being all about the first wedding that I photographed!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these photographs and I can’t wait to see where my photography journey takes me!

    • Thank you so much Soph! I really appreciate it 🙂 xo

  • The pictures are stunning. I am a photographer by trade, but I do more product photography, but I would love to branch out into weddings!

    • Thank you so much! Ooh that sounds really cool – who do you do that for? I’d love to give product photography a try, I’m currently trying my hand at everything to see what I enjoy the most and what I feel I’m the best at. Photographing weddings is soo much fun, but they are very long and tiring days and the editing process takes such a long time as well, but it’s so worth it when you see the final results xo
