BEAUTY | A Mini Beauty Bay Haul
Beauty Bay recently had an anniversary special of 15% off selected products. Obviously this tempted me massively, even though I’m supposed to be saving up for a holiday – oops!
I only purchased three little bits that have been frequently raved about and my order total was under £30 anyway, so I’m just going to ignore the annoying little ‘telling off’ voice in the back of my head..
I finally took the plunge and bought the Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Fruit & Seed Oil Blend, thanks to Kelsey’s recommendation. This little facial oil has made quite a few appearances on Kelsey’s blog and I 100% trust any item of skincare that she talks highly about. I opted for Pai’s facial oil over others I have heard of, due to the fact that this one is suited more to sensitive skin and it also doesn’t contain ingredients that I can’t use. I’m sure I’ll be back with a post dedicated to this oil soon.
The Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Cucumber And Green Tea has been in my skincare wishlist for a few weeks now. I think I first heard about it on Shani Grimmond’s YouTube channel, as she tends to use it as part of her skincare routine. Anything with cucumber in is an instant seller for me, as it’s just so refreshing and feels really light and cooling on the skin. I did actually spray this as soon as I received it and I can confirm that it felt cooling and hydrating.
Another recommendation from Shani is the Morphe Pressed Pigment in the shade High Class. I watched Shani use this in one of her makeup tutorials and I was instantly sold – not that I needed another eyeshadow mind you.. I chose the shade High Class because it’s right up my street, what with being a bronze/gold shimmer shade. I’m excited to use this and see how it pairs with a smokey eye.
Those are the bits I picked up from Beauty Bay and now I want to purchase more, but unfortunately money doesn’t grow on trees..
