BEAUTY | My Favourite Sparkly Eyeshadows
This post makes me soo excited! There’s nothing I love more than glitter and there’s no better excuse than the festive period to pull them all out…
My collection of sparkly eyeshadows is ever growing and I don’t intend to stop anytime soon! I love a glittery eye and specifically during the festive period.
I have quite a few sparkly shadows and one of my all time fave palettes that provides me with soo much choice is this one by Morphe. It’s absolutely stunning and I am obsessed with it. There are plenty of sparkly eyeshadows to choose from – from champagne, brown, bronze and gold to pink and purple! There is also a bottom row full of matte shades that are perfect crease and transition shades, so you would literally only need this one palette to create a whole variety of different smokey and sparkly eye looks.
Another palette I love is this one from Too Faced. My most used shimmer shades in this palette are Caramel and Butter Pecan, the latter being the perfect brow bone and inner corner highlight shade to really perk up your eyes. I know a lot of people that use and love this palette and I would love to add the semi-sweet version to my collection too!
This Urban Decay palette was my first ever eyeshadow palette that I bought, when I first started getting really into makeup. I opted for this one over the other two, just because I preferred the shades. Although now I do love the original one as the shades are probably more suited to me. My all-time favourite sparkly shade in this palette is half-baked – it’s a stunning gold shade that’s super pigmented and looks super dreamy. I also love Bootycall and YDK.
I don’t tend to purchase many single eyeshadows, but I have always wanted to create my own eyeshadow palette full of all of my fave single shadows – one day I will do this!
An old fave of mine is this single eyeshadow Lounge by UD. It’s absolutely perfect paired with a smokey eye because of the deep undertones to it. I really need to purchase some more of these from UD because they’re honestly stunning – highly pigmented as well and I don’t notice a massive amount of fall out with this one, which is fab considering the colour of it!
This Morphe single eyeshadow in High Class is a gorgeous light bronze shimmer shade that, again, is super pigmented. For £6 you can’t really go wrong can you?! There are so many other shades in this range as well and they all look really pretty. I’ll definitely be picking up more.
I don’t own many cream eyeshadows, but this offering from 3ina* (317) is beautiful and lasts such a long time on the lids! I was kindly gifted this product and I am super pleased to have it in my collection – it’s definitely made me want to venture more towards cream eyeshadows. Another cream shadow that is an absolute classic – an oldie but still a goodie! – is this one in On and On Bronze. I don’t know many people that don’t own at least one of the Colour Tattoo’s by Maybelline.
The MAC single eyeshadows are fab and the one I own is now sadly discontinued as it was a limited edition shade called In Orbit. I do absolutely love the formula of this one, it’s soft but dry – if that even makes sense? – and it’s super glittery which I obviously love.
