BEAUTY | Two Makeup Revolution Highlighters You Need In Your Life
I’ve recently added two Makeup Revolution Highlighting products into my makeup collection and I’m obsessed!
Are you looking for a new blinding highlighter (or two!) that won’t break the bank? Then look no further than the Makeup Revolution Pro Illuminate. This is currently my go-to highlighter of choice and has been for a couple of months now since I bought it! It’s absolutely massive – you get 21g of product!! – and leaves the most beautiful illuminating highlight, I’m seriously obsessed. This offering is easily buildable too, so you don’t have to go in with a lot and can keep your highlight subtle, however you can really achieve that blinding highlight by adding more and more – which is why I love it so much as it’s really versatile.
Despite it’s hefty size, it’s extremely lightweight and very easy to carry around with you as it’s slim too so doesn’t take up too much room. However, if you’re looking for a palette that can travel and offer not one but f o u r highlighters and also four blushers as well, then you need the Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Blush Goddess. I use this pretty frequently, as I like to mix together the highlighters and the blushers and create my own custom highlight and blush shades. Although my favourites are; the two blushes on the left and then the first highlight shade on the left mixed with the yellow toned highlight on the right side of the palette. I do actually tend to use all eight of the shades included in this palette, which is pretty rare for me as I’m very fussy! Admittedly, I don’t use the bright pink blush shade all too much though..
For £10, you can’t go wrong with buying these two absolute gems, as you receive five highlighters! Such a bargain and if I ever get through both of these then I will 100% be repurchasing. I also want to quickly mention the packaging of both, as I love the sleek black and clear design – there’s nothing better than a clear case for ease of seeing the product inside without having to open the lid – and although the packaging is plastic (tut tut…), it doesn’t look cheap at all, IMO. It may feel cheap because of how lightweight it is though, so maybe bare that in mind if that’s not your kinda thing!
I’ve tried to keep this mini review fairly short and simple, but just to end on; I highly recommend these products to anyone looking for a new and affordable highlighter, I promise they won’t disappoint!
