A full glam makeup look featuring the Stila Magnificent Metals Eyeshadow…
I haven’t done a makeup look on my blog in the longest time and I always love reading Gemma’s, so she inspired me to occasionally start doing them again!
I went for dinner a little while ago at The Cuban and decided to be a little extra with my makeup (this is extra for me..). I haven’t properly tried the Stila Eyeshadow since I received it for Christmas and I’ve wanted an excuse to wear it for ages now, so I thought dinner with my gal pal was definitely the perfect excuse!
This is my current foundation of choice, so I just tend to apply a bit more of this if I’m going out for a fuller coverage. I’ve already raved about this foundation previously and I don’t have much more to add, other than the fact that I love it more each time I wear it! It is perfect for those who want a flawless looking base and the claims of it being heavy? They’re a load of rubbish in my opinion and that’s coming from someone who hates the feel of foundation on her skin..
I applied this foundation using my Zoeva 102 Silk Finish – my current dream team!
I should probably purchase a new one of these, considering how long I’ve had it in my collection for.. This is the perfect powder for those who just simply want to lightly powder their face (and get rid of any shine), without adding any extra coverage or colour.
I always apply my powder now using a fan brush, as I definitely prefer a lighter covering of powder these days.
I really appreciate how pigmented these shades are, considering the very low price tag. I tend to use the third shade along on the bottom row to contour my cheeks and lightly bronze my forehead and under my chin.
I use the Bare Escentuals Double Ended Cheek & Eye Brush to apply my contour with – I love how slim yet fluffy this brush is, it’s perfect for contouring IMO.
I’ve previously raved about the highlighters in this palette, but the blush shades are equally as gorgeous! I mixed together the two shades on the left, as I never like a bright pink blush look, so I always like to mix a peach in to tone it down slightly.
BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector – Champagne Pop
This highlighter was sent from the God’s, I tell ya! I’m always mixing up which highlighter I fancy using and I was really feeling that more golden/peachy highlight look, hence why I went for Champagne Pop!
I always apply my highlighter using the Anastasia Beverly Hills A23. I refuse to use any other brush for highlighting, as this one is the best. I know it’s expensive, but it’s worth every single penny.
I am a little biased with this product as it is the only eyeshadow primer that I’ve ever used. However, I do think it’s amazing! It is glue for your eyeshadow and I’ve never had problems with it – my eyeshadow stays put for longer, doesn’t crease and doesn’t smudge. I don’t really see the point in me trying another eyeshadow primer, as this one does work incredibly well for me.
This palette is g o r g e o u s, from the packaging to the actual eyeshadows themselves. There isn’t one shade within this palette that I wouldn’t use, as they’re all beautiful. I used the shades Nudie and Cashmere Bunny in the crease and a tiny bit of Sexspresso on the outer corner.
The star of the show! I’m already obsessed having only used this metal eyeshadow once so far and I n e e d the other shades in my collection ASAP! It’s such a dream to apply, especially using your finger, and leaves you with the most beautiful sparkly eye – I honestly cannot get enough!
My current holy grail mascara, I literally cannot get enough of it! It’s an incredibly good mascara that evenly coats your lashes, separating them as you go and giving them both volume and length – I have no negatives!
You guys already know how obsessed I am with the NYX Brow Pomade. It honestly doesn’t matter that it dries up quickly because it’s SO cheap! I just love this eyebrow product and can’t see myself ever going back to a pencil or anything similar – I am intrigued to try the NYX Eyebrow Gel though..
Ever since creating my brush collection post, I dug out the Morphe R44 Brush and have completely fallen in love with it. I actually love how soft this one is and I’m preferring it over the Spectrum one to apply my brow pomade with!
I was so excited to receive this for Christmas and finally try it! It pulls a really lovely pink nude shade on my lips and I love it. The lip liner was extremely creamy to apply and applied like a dream and the lipstick glided on over the top really nicely. I can see this duo quickly becoming my new fave!
