TRAVEL | Villa Accommodation in Ubud, Bali

Ubud was our third and final destination, after visiting Gili T, and our villa was insane!

We stayed in the most beautiful villa in Ubud – it was massive! What you get for your money accommodation wise in Bali is actually insane, we stayed in this accommodation for two nights at £130 a night – which is an absolute bargain if you consider the fact that six guests can stay at this accommodation, meaning you would pay £20ish each per night?!

It is a three bed villa with one of the bedrooms being located downstairs with an outdoor shower (so cool!) and the other two bedrooms were located upstairs alongside a big balcony with three large comfy beanbags, that overlooked the pool and garden area. All three rooms had big double beds and their own bathrooms too! Everything within the villa was pretty open plan, as you can see from my photos and the villa tour video. The lounge was a decent size with a little kitchen and a seating area to eat at that also overlooked the infinity pool. I think this was one of my favourite things to do to be honest! The garden was huge too and was on a pretty steep hill. Honestly, this villa is gorgeous and I can imagine it being a lot of fun with six people!

The villa was located a little out of the way of the main Ubud strip near the Monkey Forest, but it has it’s own personal taxi that you can use which made getting around much easier. We also had ‘villa service’ (a bit like room service) which did make us feel a bit like how ‘the other half live’ for a day or two and gonna be honest, it felt weird and I’m glad I don’t lead a life like that! Honestly, this villa pretty much has everything you could need and it also has a big driveway if you had hired a car.

We were living in luxury for a couple of days and it was bliss! I have to be honest though, by this point I was so extremely homesick that I felt like I kinda ruined the last bit of the trip for myself really.. I felt physically sick and couldn’t eat much and I know it sounds super ungrateful, trust me I really did feel like that, but it can’t be helped and I’m so glad I had my two lovely friends spurring me on and ensuring that I had the best time possible!

I will leave a link to my vlog that contains a little villa tour below and I’d love it if you could check it out – I hope you enjoy!
