FOOD | A Friendly Brunch at The Cosy Club
A cute little weekday brunch date at The Cosy Club with the lovely Alice!
Last week, myself and Alice, also known as Black Tulip Beauty, popped into Bristol and headed to The Cosy Club for a spot of brunch. I had never eaten in The Cosy Club before, but I knew the food there was amazing because Alice has been many times!
I absolutely adore the interior of The Cosy Club, it feels very grand but also quite relaxed – so it’s the perfect mix. It was fairly quiet the morning we went, which I didn’t mind because it meant I could take photos without feeling too self conscious..
We opted for a hot drink to start – Alice went for a Mocha, whilst I had a caramel flavoured Hot Chocolate. Honestly one of the tastiest hot chocolate’s I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of hot chocolates!
For food, Alice picked the Gloucester Old Spot Sausage Sandwich. It looked very delicious and was a lovely generous portion! I finally settled on the Vegetarian Breakfast (it was a tough choice between that, the pancakes and the cosy eggs..) after much deliberation! The halloumi and sweetcorn fritter was every bit as delicious as it sounds. I polished the whole lot!
It was so lovely to have a proper catch up with Alice, I’ve truly met such an inspiring and awesome friend through this blogging world I’m in and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m sure we’ll be back soon because I do want to try those Cosy Eggs..
