A £20 and Under Last Minute Valentine’s Gift Guide
Valentine’s Day is very nearly here and I’ve got a budget friendly gift guide to help..
I know there are SO many last minute shopper’s out there (tut tut!), so even though this post probably should have been live a week or so ago, I have renamed it ‘last minute’ as I wanted to share it anyway.
My boyfriend and I aren’t massive on Valentine’s Day, so we tend to grab each other a cute little card and have dinner together – usually we cook or get take out, as we don’t like the idea of actually going out on V day. However, this year we will be going to our friend’s local pub as they’re hosting a quiz night! So that should be really fun and we’ll be with our friend’s too.
Anyway, I wanted to pop together a little budget friendly gift guide for those who prefer a more minimal approach to Valentine’s Day (like me).
Beauty & Fashion
Got a girl or boy in your life that loves nothing more than a good pamper? Gifting a small item of skincare, such as the Frank Body Creamy Face Scrub* or the Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Energising Face Wash would be greatly received. I personally love the Glossier Balm Dot Com too.
A simple, yet practical fashion gift includes an ASOS 3-Pack T-Shirts, or if your girl is obsessed with cross body bags (who isn’t?!) then how cute is this ASOS Embellished Velvet option! It also has a cute little heart clasp – perfect for V Day.
Jewellery always makes for the perfect gift and there are loads of budget friendly options out there. Pandora have lots of options, suitable for all budgets, and this Rose Logo Heart Ring is absolutely gorgeous. They also have a super cute Two Hearts Spacer, which I love! I know a lot of bloggers are currently talking about John Greed jewellery too and I have to agree, there are some stunning pieces.
You can also find some lovely smelling perfume/cologne for £20 and under, with Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely being one of them. Or for him, there’s the option of the David Beckham Instinct Gift Set. There really are lots of affordable perfume’s/cologne’s to choose from.
Bath products, including LUSH’s Valentine’s collection, are also something a little extra special too!
Food, Drink & Lifestyle
Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned box of chocolates?! Give me some flowers, a box of chocolate’s and a cute card any day of the week and I’m a happy gal.
Alternatively, if your partner would prefer a bottle of booze to the chocolate then I highly recommend Aldi’s gin selection! Pretty inexpensive and they taste great. Also, Bailey’s have an offer on right now on their big bottle for £12 instead of £18.
I’m such a sucker for a more sentimental gift, so a photo of the two of us in a frame would be my perfect gift. Oliver Bonas have really fun and funky photo frames and I love this Modena Pink Colour Block Frame – it sticks with the red/pink theme for Valentine’s Day and adds a pop of colour!
Another practical gift includes an phone case. Skinny Dip have a great selection and you can also personalise phone cases too, or pick up one that fits with the Valentine’s Day theme – like this Casetify Pinky Promise iPhone case!
