Just A Few NIVEA Goodies
NIVEA is such a classic and well-known brand, here’s a few bits I received…
I have recently become part of the NIVEA family (pinch me!) and was very kindly sent over a super generous package full of a few goodies, that I thought I’d share with you today. I have used NIVEA products for as long as I can remember, they are just cult classics really aren’t they? Everyone knows, uses and loves their products! So I feel very lucky to be a part of the NIVEA family.
I took this away with me to New York, as I knew it would be hot and sunny weather whilst we were out there. I really hate burning, not only because it hurts, but because it’s just so damaging for your skin. I’ve always been conscious to apply suncream whenever venturing out in the sun. With this suncream spray being factor 50+, it meant I didn’t have to worry about not having the time to reapply. Especially with all the walking and jam-packed New York days, I just knew I wouldn’t have the time to do so. I’m also quite pale, even though I do tan, my natural skin colour is pretty fair. So a higher factor is a must for me! This suncream definitely did the job for me whilst in New York, as I didn’t burn once and my skin was super protected from the sun. It was also lovely and moisturising to apply and because of this, it meant that my skin didn’t go all dry and scale-y (ew) like it normally does from being exposed to the sun. So I can definitely vouch for the ‘protect & moisture’ part too!
Oh my, this smells so fresh and heavenly – I love it! I always love cucumber in my skincare (and in my gin, to be fair!), as it is just so crisp and fresh. I absolutely adore the mousse texture of this moisturiser too. It kinda makes applying it fun! I am really not someone who enjoys moisturising their body and I really do find it such a chore, so if it can be fun then I’m in! Due to the foaming/mousse texture, a little bit really does go a long way – so this is a fab pick to last you a decent amount of time.
A clay body wash shower gel? Do tell me more! The ‘clay’ aspect really intrigued me and I was eager to use this the following morning.. This does actually have a clay-like texture, who’d have thought?!, which makes my skin feel so smooth. When using this shower gel, my limbs receive an instant hit of hydration, it’s bliss! As for the scent, it’s not overpowering and again is super fresh and refreshing. It’s obviously not sweet and sickly either, so this would be perfect for those who prefer a much less offensive scent.
I never really know how to review lip balm’s, as nine times out of ten they do the job they’re supposed to do. However, the mango scent is beyond heavenly. Like, I legit want to eat it (but I won’t, I promise..). This lip balm is bright orange, which is super fun and Summer-y, and also has a really shiny almost glitter-y look to it. Once applied to your lips, they do look ‘juicy’, which is not a describing word I’m a fan of, but that’s the only way to describe it! You can still smell the mango scent too, which is an added bonus. NIVEA lip balm’s are always great for adding hydration back into your lips. No complaints from me!
Have you tried any of these products from NIVEA?xoxo
