A little review of some Dr Botanical goodies…

I’d wanted to try out Dr Botanicals for a long time, I’ve only ever seen and heard great reviews and their packaging is gorgeous!

Their products are so fun, but they also perform exactly how expected on the skin. So it’s a win win! Sometimes similar brands can fall short with the performance side of things, as they’ve put all their time and energy into the packaging. It’s great to find a brand that can do both and do both well too!

Dr Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask*

Yes, this does smell as good as it sounds! I have spoke about this little mask twice before, a full review is on my Instagram and I also featured it in my post shower routine.

However, I love to use this mask when my skin needs a big hit of hydration – it’s perfect for the Spring/Summer months and would be great to take away on holiday with you.

It’s a mask that sinks into the skin, as much as it feels it needs, and then you simply rinse off the rest with water. It’s super quick and easy to use, you leave the mask on for around 10 minutes and then you’re good to go! I do prefer to use this mask in the evening, when I know I’m going to bed and my skin can continue to soak in all the goodness!

Anything coconut scented is always a winner in my books and the next Summer holiday I have (a girl can dream right?), I will be taking this with me to pop on a few times. The sun really does dry out my skin!

Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil*

As you will have seen in my recent evening skincare routine, I l o v e this face oil. It smells absolutely divine and I need the scent in perfume form! Anyone who also owns this little bottle of heaven, will appreciate how amazing this smells.

It makes my skin feel hydrated and instantly adds a lovely soft glow to my skin, making it look nice and healthy. You don’t have to use a lot of this oil to get the desired effect and I simply press and pat this oil into my skin, avoiding my eye area of course.

Even though this oil is rather heavily scented, you don’t need to worry about it potentially stinging any sore areas you may have on your skin. To cut a long story short… I waxed my armpits (at home, with that Veet home kit, got the sticky shit stuck on my underarms, couldn’t get it off with bloody anything!) and, because I was desperate to shift the stickiness, I used this oil and it actually worked! Amazing! Obviously my underarms were super sore and sensitive by this point, but that’s how I found out that this oil doesn’t sting…

Dr Botanicals Hemp Infused Natural Moisturiser*

(You can grab yourself the 50ml version here – aff link).

As you can imagine, this moisturiser does smell a little odd and not like most soft scented skincare… However, it really is soothing and any redness is banished within a couple of days. The cream itself is green in colour, so do be sure to massage this in thoroughly…

I love using this offering if my skin is feeling a little agitated and angry, or if I’m suffering with a patch of redness. This moisturiser is almost cooling (it doesn’t feel cold though) and sinks really well and quickly into the skin.

If you fancied giving any of these products a try, or you’ve got your eye on anything else on their site, then I do have a 30% discount code for you to use – CHARLOTTE30.
