A Small Bath & Body Works Haul.
A little mini Bath & Body Works haul…
Admittedly, this post is around 8 months late but it’s better late than never right?!
As soon as we booked those flights to New York, I knew I wanted to visit two places – Shake Shack and Bath & Body Works. The former being a necessary food essential (I didn’t realise until we landed home that we actually have a few Shake Shack’s here in the UK...) and the latter being somewhere I have wanted to purchase a candle from for the longest time (I blame Zoella and Lily…).
So with my family in tow, we headed into the best smelling store in the world… I didn’t realise how overwhelmed I would be by all of the choice. If I wasn’t unemployed at the time, then I definitely would have picked up a couple more candles for sure! I was being money conscious, as when you’re an adult you do have to be sensible sometimes. Even if it is super boring.
I opted for Warm Apple Pie which yes, does smell as good as it sounds. I had to bear in mind a scent Kieran would love too and I’m happy to report that I did well on that front… It’s his favourite candle in our collection! It literally does smell like a warm apple pie, funnily enough! It has sweet notes of sugar, sharp notes of apple and warming notes of cinnamon – it’s delightful.
The Pocket Gels…
Seems as though I predicted a hand sanitiser shortage too… as I ended up purchasing five! They were on offer and all of the scents sounded incredible.
I chose Warm Vanilla Sugar (subtly sweet with a hint of vanilla), Peach Bellini (smells incredible, very fruity and peachy!), Stress Relief (with eucalyptus and spearmint, very fresh and minty), Pumpkin Apple (sharp, sweet and fruity) and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte (smells like caramel cream on top of your frappe – amazing! Sweet in the best possible way). If I could have these in candle form too, that would be even better.
Have you tried anything from B&BW? If not, what’s on your wish list?
