My Spring Makeup.

My makeup look for the Spring season…

It’s all about those soft pink vibes for Spring and I had fun creating this subtle pink Spring makeup look! It’s been a while since I’ve just sat down and experimented a little with makeup and it felt SO good. I need to do this more often!

The Base

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water

I spritz this all over my skin and my damp beauty blender, before applying my foundation. I love the stuff! Once I’ve finished the rest of my face makeup, I spritz this again and then once I’ve completely finished my Spring makeup look too.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation

My absolute holy grail. I haven’t used another foundation since owning this and this is my second bottle of the stuff. I am keen to try another foundation, but for now I’m still loving how this offering makes my skin look. I’ve spoken before about how I personally feel that this foundation has a bad ‘cakey’ and ‘too full coverage’ name to it… It’s all about how much you use and how you apply it, in my opinion.

I applied my foundation using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and, using a bit of pressure, bounced my foundation into my skin!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I have had this concealer for the longest time, I definitely need to get a new one. The new packaging is lush too! I don’t tend to wear concealer all that often, as I find it creases terribly underneath my eyes and I just can’t be bothered with that! However, it didn’t crease too badly this time. I applied this underneath my eyes, down the centre of my nose, chin and forehead, either side of my nose and either side of my lips. I then blended it in with my same damp beauty blender – maybe this is why it looked better than usual!

The Face

Maybelline Fit Me Powder

Another product I’ve now owned for an age and should probably get a new one… I love this powder because it doesn’t add any colour or extra coverage to my skin, it simply just adds a light layer of powder to slightly mattify. I lightly dust this powder over my face with a fan brush and I’m good to go.

Mac Sculpting Powder Palette Refill in Sculpt

A new bronzing powder that I received for Christmas (along with the below blush) and it’s the perfect shade for my skin tone. It’s easy to build up and creates that perfect shadow underneath your cheekbones.

Mac Powder Blush Palette Refill in Blushbaby

I do love a deep rosey blush shade! I’m not one for over the top blush, I prefer to keep it more muted and less bright. The shade blushbaby adds the perfect colour to my cheeks.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter

I have a pale yellow undertone to my skin, so I adore a more golden highlight shade. I feel this kind of shade suits my complexion so much better and is much more flattering! I’m one for a strong highlight too, so the more glow the better! This offering delivers time after time and I can see myself repurchasing this one as soon as I hit pan.

The Eyes

Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette & Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette

Usually I would prime my eyelids with the Urban Decay Original Primer Potion, however I’m running low and knew I wouldn’t be wearing this makeup for that long (or out of the house!).

I applied the shade White Peach, from the Sweet Peach palette, all over my lid. Then I went in with Peaches & Cream, also from the Sweet Peach palette, in my crease, followed by Nougat from the Semi Sweet Chocolate palette. To deepen the crease shade, I then went in with the shades Georgia and Moose also from the Semi Sweet Chocolate palette.

All over my lid I applied Candied Peach from the Sweet Peach palette and decided to deepen my crease even further, by picking up the shade Peanut Butter from the Semi Sweet Chocolate palette. Then to add a bit more ‘Spring’ pink to the look, I applied Just Peachy from the Sweet Peach palette. To finish off the eye look, I felt like adding a little pink sparkle so popped Pink Sugar from the Semi Sweet Chocolate palette all over my lid.

I used the shade Buttercream from the Semi Sweet Chocolate palette to highlight my inner corner – it’s the perfect shade for it! I love it.

NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade

My absolute holy grail eyebrow product! I can’t ever see myself using anything else for my brows – for a fiver, you really can’t go wrong!

Glossier Boy Brow

The perfect sized spoolie to really lock those little hairs in place, but without that horrible stiff feeling. It’s nice and small too, so is the perfect sized product to take away with you!

Ciate Wonderwand Mascara

I have been loving this mascara for a little while now, it’s amazing. It lengthens, adds volume and creates the blackest lashes possible – it’s the perfect mascara in my opinion! The wand is quite thick, which I don’t normally like, however it works with this mascara and doesn’t clump at all. The tube is also super pretty and pretty weighty too, which makes it feel nice and luxe. It’s a good ‘un!

Eylure Volume No. 083 Eyelashes*

For the first time in forever, I braved it and decided to pop on some falsies. I was sent these by False Eyelashes, along with a few other styles, and I really love how they looked. I’m just not a false eyelash wearer, I think I need to perfect my technique and get used to wearing them. I really love how they look, but the faff is usually what I can’t be bothered with. I just need someone to apply them for me, you know?! I’m blaming the lazy girl in me… That being said, I’ve always loved and opted to use Eylure lashes over most other brands – I think we can all agree that they’re a great brand!

The Lips

Colourpop Oh Snap! Lip Pencil

The perfect nude-y pink shade to line your lips before applying your lipstick shade of choice. I’m not one for a super intense coloured lip pencil, as I find lining my lips quite hard actually – anyone else?! I love the formula of this offering too, it doesn’t drag on my lips and is so incredibly creamy. It’s the dream!

Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick, Rodeo Drive & Buttercup

I believe the shade Buttercup is a collaboration shade with Jaclyn Hill, however I can’t find it on their site! It’s a gorgeous creamy pink nude shade that I popped over the top of Rodeo Drive, in the centre of my lips. Rodeo Drive is a beautiful rose-y pink lipstick that just screams Spring to me. It’s such a lovely shade that I’ve become obsessed with! Gerard Cosmetics lipstick packaging is lovely too, I mean you can’t go wrong with dreamy gold packaging can you?!

So that’s all the products I used for my Spring makeup look, let me know if you’re interested in any of the brushes that I used? As I’d be happy to let you know, I just didn’t want this post being incredibly long!

I also have an IGTV video of this look, if you’re interested in watching that then you can do so here.
